I think it’s actually good to show concern over ultra skinny bodies rather than normalize anorexia. You’re going to “don’t comment on women’s bodies” people to death
@buteraswdym@slasherhomo so are we supposed to just pretend everything is normal? i’m saying this in response to people who say she’s perfectly fine and looks healthy. also, if this is fake concern what does real concern look like then?
creo que se está tapando mucho la pandemia de delgadez extrema/posibles tcas en la industria con la excusa de "no hay que hablar de los cuerpos de las mujeres!!!" y me parece algo peligrosísimo
not to add to the discourse, but do ariana grande stan’s who defend her weight understand it doesn’t come from shaming it comes from concern? regardless of if it’s an ED, chronic illness, ect. there is no way that low of a weight is healthy on her heart. i rlly concerned for her
@slasherhomo - I can tell you she’s not doing okay, regardless if it’s an ED or something else. there is a difference between commenting on women’s bodies in a mean/bullying way and being concerned. she genuinely looks anorexic.
@slasherhomo i’ve been a fan of ari since my everything and I’ve never seen her this skinny. when I saw the videos of her on the first dates of the tour I couldn’t focus on anything but how skinny she looked. And I say this as a huge fan. I’ve battled and ED and depression before and - (1/2)
food and drinks consumed in a movie theater doesn’t really go into your body. it goes into your movie theater body which is separate & holy and harm-proof
