Is it not more inspiring to acknowledge that the prequels weathered that initial rocky reception and ended up becoming beloved parts of Star Wars by most of the fanbase? Wouldn't you rather be vindicated for liking them the whole time when a lot of fans initially didn't?
Why is there now a widely accepted campaign to pretend the prequels weren't hated when they came out? Even if you love them, what is there to be gained from that? You don't see fans of John Carpenter's The Thing pretending that movie was beloved when it first came out
Why do chuds love the Prequels when it's the most obvious rant about how George Lucas hates the Bush admin, religious conservatives and the Military industrial complex.
I think the replies just show how much of the minority I'm in when it comes to adoring the score, thought that Michael Giacchino did OUTSTANDING and made something more mature on top of his foundation from the Home trilogy
