Over the last year or so @queensforwarren dreamed big and fought hard for a remarkable woman, Senator @ewarren. These grassroots activists, led by women, did so much to elect the first woman president. The group gathered tonight to share laughs & tears and recommit to the fight.
Just a few moments ago, was announced that Bernie Sanders campaign will be partnering with Fox News for a town hall next week. So, I’m reupping this highly relevant thread on this very topic.
.@ewarren gives form to brainy, compassionate, determined, indefatigable leadership. Her extraordinary belief in the capacity of our nation to serve its poorest resident and to demand the most of its people will continue to move our nation forward. Thank you, our friend!
Thank you, Elizabeth Warren. For your passion. Your persistence. Your plans. Thank you for daring us to dream bigger. Fight harder. Be better. Thank you for believing in me - in all of us.
We are better because you ran.
Elizabeth Warren is still the best candidate for president — and she still deserves our trust.
Let’s wait to see how she decides to move forward — and then follow her lead.
🗣️And here's the poem if you'd like to read along: "To Be of Use," by Marge Piercy. Thank you, @AyannaPressley for always showing us the way... https://t.co/1GMqcmYIbm 👏
A couple months ago, @AyannaPressley stopped by our office, and she read this poem “To be of use” by Marge Piercy. I keep coming back to it — both the poem, and this video I took of her reading it — and I wanted to share it here today. In two parts:
We send sympathies to our #TeamWarren family in Miami who are mourning the loss of a powerful organizer & voice for change, @PatrickHidalgo. He was a champion of progressive politics in South Florida, & we know many will honor his memory through their own work & activism.
#TeamWarren in Miami mourns the loss of @PatrickHidalgo. We were honored to have had him represent #ElizabethWarren at a recent event. To those that knew and loved him, we offer our deepest sympathy.
