A little about me here and how I aim to practice

I work with the LGBTQIA community and with people who are non-monogamous. I am also kink aware, body positive and see sex work as work. As a white person I aim to be as anti-racist as possible and my therapeutic approach is influenced by queer theory and intersectional feminism.

I think it's really interesting to watch how the working class in this profession are pointedly sidelined in who is platformed by the most powerful people. Class is a massive issue in therapy. You bet it contributes to harm in therapy. Indirectly and directly.

It's been 24 hours since we found out the NHS covered up the deaths of 16 young people since banning youth transition care. Not a single major outlet has covered this scandal. Ask what the coverage would look like if these were transitioned kids. Cass lied, children died.

The longer I think about this the angrier I get. The UK's largest gender clinic went from one suicide in the seven years of prescribing HRT/puberty blockers to SIXTEEN in TWO years after they stopped--and NHS covered it up. They knew kids were hurting and they covered it up.

Whatever the anti-trans activists say, it’s not rude, bullying or abusive to identify transphobia/bigotry.
This false narrative is designed to prevent us from challenging dangerous rhetoric and behaviour that harms trans people.

UKCP citing neurodivergence like this shows a fundamental and very worrying lack of understanding about neurodivergence.
