Some people are poor and our medical institutions are supremely messed up. Let that sink in 🙄.
A lot of you are completely divorced from what poverty actually is, yet still feel like you can judge people and it's gross to watch.

So who are your favourite crip artists/ disabled artists/ disabled creative scholars
which make the space wider, create space for thinking and feeling about possible futures for disabled ppl?
Who inspires you to build these futures?
I think "crip art"/art that reflects disability created by disabled ppl
can be a means of resistance. While researching some of it for my book, it was was that part of work, that revitalized me again.

non addressed ableism. For me it is resistance being defined by others, an attempt to reassign meaning and draw attention to the political dimension of disability. But as not every disabled person feels the same way about a reclaim, I will write more often "crips/disabled ppl" >>
