I think one of the saddest things about modern childhood is the loss of cartoons as inheritance. I grew up watching Scooby-Doo reruns decades after it first aired. Kids today have more content than ever, but perhaps less shared cultural inheritance across generations.
Michael Jackson is proof that true power comes from never losing touch with your inner child. The part of you that the world tried to destroy. It’s the only part that can’t be tamed. The inner child is connected to the divine source of universal creation. The spirit of life.
