@tommydub_ mardi gras is so much more busy than normal – but it can be overwhelming anyway. going on nights where outside organisers are putting on an event (bear nights, kink nights) can mean a slightly more welcoming crowd. but going with a friend I could check in on helped me a lot.

@SARussellwords Amazon's track record with cinema releases in Australia isn't great unless another distributor handles (like Bottoms and Universal). Fest-wise obviously it didn't premiere til after SFF and MIFF, but wonder if they even offered it to Adelaide, SXSW or Brisbane.
