Experienced the depths of hell this week but was also held by someone, set up a pond, and get to watch new king of the hill revival, we stay winning 🏆

3. I can choose to behave in a way that makes me feel proud of myself

-made beautiful friends and strengthened friendships with old ones
-moved into a house alone and DIY renovated it to make it liveable
-got a freaky cat
-hosted a fundraiser
-went to japan
-saw two of my best friends make humans from scratch
-held a hedgehog

-became a craft bitch
-made a tonne of progress in my fibro rehab and got strong and fit enough to climb lofty with minor pain and no injuries
-held a frog in a field lit up by fireflies
- hitchhiked for the first time

Yesterday was the one year anniversary of me trying to kms and winding up in hospital. Nobody asked, but here’s the lessons I learned from it:

1: time alone doesn’t heal you, effort does
2: it’s better to be happy than be right
3: sauron is really hot

@VegJames I speak zero Japanese haha i just use the translate app to have conversations with people and that’s worked pretty well for me. Most Japanese people know a bit of English as well
