Trails and Falcom youtuber @The_Kiseki_Nut whom I regularly watched and enjoyed for years, made a statement about the regional prices for Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter in Asian regions and CIS and also the deletion of the game from Russian Steam region after a week of sales which led to the review bombing. He's also disappointed with the publisher @GungHo_America who made a mess of this release which should have been all-around positive for everybody.

Thanks for bringing attention to this! And thanks for sharing a link to the Steam discussion on the topic. It's wonderful that Trails community supports each other to make this remake a truly huge celebration for the fans all around the world!

Ok it's really funny. @GungHo_America just removed Trails in the Sky the 1st from russian Steam after selling it for a week. This happened after overwhelming support from ru community (200+ positive Steam reviews) despite not having localization in russian language.

We asked GungHo to lower the CIS price to coincide with regional price in Russia and Ukraine, but didn't expect the publisher to quietly remove it in Russia instead. It's petty and unprofessional.

I just finished Trails in the Sky the 1st yesterday, it was a superb 10/10 masterpiece and @nihonfalcom did a masterful job. It's such a shame that the western publisher is doing this.

Could you please lower the regional price in CIS $ Steam region? The game is 22-27$ in Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan and it's PERFECT!
But fans from the neighboring countries like Armenia, Georgia, Belarus (Steam CIS $ region) simply can't afford the 60$ price.
I ask you to reconsider the CIS $ pricing for the potential growth of the fanbase. It's a really important game for me, and I want it to be accessible to everybody in this region.

Also, I wanted to support you the best I could and bought 120+ copies of Trails in the Sky 1st for my subscribers. Hope it helps to support the sequel!
