@warwickmansell I absolutely agree with this article. Over the past 30 years, schools have undergone a transition from educating for life, to schooling for exams. Who in the MAT system is currently advocating for change to the metrics on which schools are judged?

@ajjolley @ShakinthatChalk One issue is that if a FSM student doesn't spend their full daily allowance, they don't have their change rolled over to the following day. I have yet to understand where this change goes.

In answer to your question, as long as a teacher has the necessary DBS completed and follows the school's safeguarding policy they are able to work in a school.
