Mark you know I respect you and take your views seriously, and I agree people are doing it tough, but don’t agree there’s no plan when we are delivering:
Tax cuts for every taxpayer
Energy bill relief for every household
Cheaper medicines and childcare
Increased rent assistance and working age payments
More support for Medicare and bulk billing
Fee free TAFE and cutting student debt
Building more homes
Higher minimum wages
… Opposed by the Coalition
Now inflation is down from 7.8 to 2.4
Real wages growing again
Very low unemployment
RBA cutting rates
And delivered two surpluses
A $200b budget improvement
Much less debt and interest repayments
So more to do but making progress

Here’s a true story; I have a friend who does zero social media. Zero. Never has. Never will. In the past I’ve sometimes encouraged her to post things about her latest exciting jaunts and trips, saying it’s good to share. But the other day she came over with a beautiful bunch of flowers and to just ask how I was. It struck me that her thoughts are focused a lot on her valued small circle of close friends and not juggling over 500 online with no real connection. More and more I think Facebook has destroyed our friendships. Terribly so. Mostly our friends sit there on our online lists like a freezer full of food we don’t choose to eat. Lost in time. Lost in memories. Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk!
You saw the horrific single-rider log, you know Koala habitat is being logged, you’ve heard our plea to @AlboMP to end native forest logging now. It’s time!

Barnaby Joyce racked up $675K in expenses in 3 weeks as drought envoy. He says he sent texts to PM Scott Morrison who blocks FOI requests & refuses to release phone records. Retweet if you want a forensic audit & a police investigation with all documents published. #auspol#NACC
