He became an icon of spiritual defiance. His tragic martyrdom in 1841 exposed the abuses of Spanish colonial rule, helping ignite the early flames of the Philippine Revolution

Tayabas officially became a component city in Quezon under Rep. Act No. 𝟫𝟥𝟫𝟪, also known as the "Charter of the City of Tayabas". The law was enacted on March 18, 2007 & its cityhood was subsequently ratified by the residents through a public plebiscite held on July 14, 2007.

𝘼𝙧𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙤 𝙏𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙜𝙨𝙤𝙣 𝙀𝙣𝙧𝙞𝙡𝙚 was born on June 20, 1940 in Lucena City to Felix Enrile and Jovita Tiongson. He was part of an influential political and military clan with extended family ties to the Enrile family of Cagayan and former President Corazon Aquino.

José Protasio Rizal Mercado y Alonso Realonda was born on June 19, 1861 in Calamba, Laguna. He was a Filipino nationalist, writer, polymath and popularly considered a national hero in the country.

We commemorate the 45th death anniversary of Manuel Sarmiento Enverga.

Dr. Enverga passed away on June 14, 1981 but his profound impact on education, public service and nation-building continues through the institutions he established.
