Two Bald Eagles at Hagerman National Wildlife Refuge today. Not the best image ever but I like the feel of it with the American White Pelican in the background. Two of the largest birds in North America.
@Photos2Print I like ai when used carefully. Brightening and sharpening are standard options in photoshop. Topaz now in photoshop. If you shoot in raw; working in post in photoshop is standard stuff. Plenty of plugins to auto clean up and enhance images. Ai is next step. But I seldom use it.
@CarlBovisNature Both, depending on my goals. If trying to improve my birding skills I prefer the close up, although certainly habitat plays a role in bird id. For overall enjoyment of birds in nature and the soothing of the spirit, then distance works best.
I cannot keep up with Sjeffo Bird Photography
@ItakeBirdPics
But here is a nice shot of the Aplomado Falcon near Laguna Atasocsa from a year ago. The Texas Rio Grande Valley is the top birding spot in the U.S.,IMHO.
@NFLFantasy Canโt stop the run. Can not rush the passer. Cannot break up a pass. Cannot stop a running qb. Can the defense do anything well? Pick one and do it.
There are warblers moving through. Already makes me excited to think about spring migration next year. As a kid it was Christmas. Now it is spring migration. Chestnut-sided Warbler.
@charlieschef I have been to Brazil but it was a mixed trip. Not all birding. May go back next year with a friend, or if that changes I plan to do Panama.
