Haven't been up to date with Kpop the past 2 years (apart from keeping up with favs).
Man it feels really nice to catch up with an artist I really love :)
OH forgot about this banger cover of Michael Jackon's Smooth Criminal. The cellos(!) and the vocal chemistry?? A really unique song cover on an amazing song so I like this cover a lot π

Hyperfixating on Haikyu!! and GLEE (only seen funny compilations) in 2026 was not on my bingo card like, damn.
Speaking of which GLEE making me discover lots of English songs I either forgot or never got to listen to until now so that's a plus :D
Even if I have all the time right now, I don't think I can watch GLEE (un)ironically with their excessive contrived teenage drama, the dated jokes and inconsistencies the fandom has talked about π
I'm there for the musical covers (Somebody to Love and Cough Syrup lomls)
Had the show not been cut short, I would have love more scenes of Rise!Splinter still making mistakes + learning throughout the show to slowly transform into becoming the wise OG!Splinter from the previous iterations.
TLDR: A VERY different but very bold Splinter (writing-wise)
Splinter at his most interesting.
+ 1 of my fav takes on a parent in fiction. He does care BUT is flawed. He gets called out for being absent and slowly strives to being better throughout the show.
+ He also breaks the Asian wise mentor stereotype that speaks in metaphors.
No way GBF song cover in the wild?? π₯Ή
'New World Order' is one of my fav GBF songs.
Everyone involved in vocals, mixing, art and instrumental did such a great job!
Great cinematography of the matches (from S1-S3 so far), great OST (Yuki Hayashi and Asami Tachibana lomls) and enjoyable characters!
I was surprised at how the main supporting cast continue to get development throughout the show.
Not just the main duo (Kageyama and Hinata)
Thank you "tobe fly highhhh!!!" for getting me to watch Haikyuu in 2026 for the first time.
Sports is actually peak
(πthis episode in particular still gives me goosebumps)
You know it's bad if the fans are upset when none of the ONF members and their usual music collaborators (Hwang Hyun and Monotree) are missing. Heck, THEY know too
That's like if Stray Kids or i-dle don't self-compose their songs anymore - the 1 main appeal of their discography
@TerranceV98 Obligatory "oomf famous !!"
(ok but for real though you're not wrong with what you said. We should be adventurous and explore other artists - not just in Kpop obviously but in other languages too!)
@scarletoperafan Can confirm I love what they got going for them (my other favs are 'Alive', 'I've Been Waiting For You' and 'What Good Is Love')
I'm definitely excited for what this band will bring and further expand their discography ^^
Was listening to 1 of my fav artists (Marianas Trench) on shuffle as per usual than Spotify played this and I let out an audible "hot damn"
Thank you Spotify for introducing me to this band because this banger really made my day

@TerranceV98 Hey Terrance! Been a while haha π
Hope you been well. And glad to see you still making videos and see you still passionate about what you love :D
Also eyyy happy you like this song too π
