Bus driver and conductor both watching videos on their phones while speeding at 100 km/h on the Agra-Lucknow Expressway.
This is why accidents keep happening every single day.
This is not one bus. This is the standard practice in most private buses.
You are traveling with death sitting right next to the driver.
How many more people have to die before someone takes action?

Is this not dangerous without supervision! Who will take responsibility if something happens. BBMP should install clear usage guidelines and safety instructions on boards next to each outdoor gym equipment in parks.
Pakistani Journalist: Where will Pakistan be in 5 years?
Ex-Singapore Ambassador: I will be very blunt. Pakistan took advantage of a diplomatic opportunity in the US-Iran war. But that will not feed your people. Pakistan has been on the brink of failure for a long time.
This week, I met with over two dozen students from @MIT and @UVA who are currently interning here in D.C.
As an MIT grad myself, I enjoyed connecting with the next generation representing our alma mater. Good luck with your internships!

What Bolton and other ex-U.S. officials will not reveal is that the Pakistan-based, A.Q. Khan-led global nuclear-smuggling network operated with impunity for years because Washington deliberately turned a blind eye.
The U.S. was not averse to the idea of Pakistan developing a nuclear-weapons capability to balance India. Former Netherlands Prime Minister Ruud Lubbers revealed in 2005 that Dutch authorities wanted to arrest Khan in 1975 and again in 1986 but that on each occasion the CIA advised against taking such action. https://t.co/jZNpgD8Z6P
The problem with Jeff Bezos' ideology is that it's based on a false premise. The idea that "six thousand years ago someone invented the plow" is based on a faulty belief that ancient humans functioned as individuals. They did not.
Ancient humans were collectivist. The likelihood that one individual invented anything is slim to none.
This is the myth of the genius.
Archeological evidence demonstrates that for hundreds of thousands of years, early humans congregated around communal gathering places, like the fire, and engaged in problem solving and passing on of shared learning down through generations.
Additionally, the plow (and tools like it) were developed by humans in Mesopotamia, Europe, Egypt, East Asia, sub-Saharan Africa as well as other places - not in one place by one person. This is known as parallel development.
Believing that the plow was invented by one genius is like believing language was invented by one person. It is a silly myth and represents the projection of current moral standards onto past events.
This is called 'presentism' and it is both an uncritical and ignorant way to view history.
Social learning was the main driver of human evolution. Collectivism is how we both survived and progressed as a species.
The myth of the genius is an example of uncritical analysis and a flawed lens used to justify the grotesque hoarding of wealth and obscene inequality that is currently tearing at the social fabric our species.
It needs to be thrown on the trash heap of history.

A prominent journalist shuts down the First PUC-failed minister with facts 🫡
"Why don’t you have the guts to question the income of mosques and churches? Where is all that money really going? Is it funding Jihad? Love Jihad? Or mass conversions?"
Will Ayogya respond?
Mr. Chief Minister,
You have not laid a foundation stone today. You have laid the tombstone of scientific urban planning in Bengaluru.
This ₹1,139 crore, 2-km tunnel is not a solution to traffic congestion. Even the DPR prepared by the government’s own consultants admits that the tunnel will be saturated from the very first day of operation. Not five years later. Not ten years later. Day One.
If the project’s own report says it will begin its life in a traffic jam, then who exactly is this project for?
Certainly not commuters.
The perception among Bengalureans is unmistakable: this project seems designed to make life easier for a privileged few - the VIPs of Sadashivanagar, including the Chief Minister and the city’s elite who use this corridor to reach the airport - while ordinary taxpayers across Bengaluru foot the bill.
Undoubtedly, the primary beneficiaries of this project will be the contractors who will reroute large kickbacks to the Congress’s funds.
If the government genuinely wanted to reduce congestion, it would have fast-tracked the Red Line Metro. Public transport is the only proven long-term solution for Bengaluru. Flyovers have failed. Tunnels will fail too.
The Bengaluru Development Minister @krishnabgowda himself has repeatedly argued that short flyovers cannot solve congestion. Then how does a short tunnel suddenly become the answer? Bengaluru deserves an explanation.
If the Minister cannot stand up to oppose such unscientific projects, then nothing has changed in the city’s approach to development.
Let me reiterate my position. This short tunnel will not become a gateway to a much larger tunnel project. We will oppose every such attempt. There is no question of allowing the proposed long tunnel through Bengaluru South.
Bengaluru needs more Metro, more buses, better suburban rail and better urban planning - not expensive monuments to failed thinking.
