First conference presentation: CHECK!
Being able to present my research at CAMWS as an undergrad was absolutely the best first-time conference experience I could ask for!
got the awesome chance to present some of my work today at CAMWS! i’m very thankful to have had this opportunity, and i’m so excited for my future in this field.
my other favorite thing has been being asked, “oh, you’re presenting, so are you a grad student?” and being able to reply: “no! I’m actually an undergrad!” :D
my favorite part of my first academic conference experience has been giving my ID to waiters and them automatically assuming it’s a fake because I’m from out of state and literally turned 21 six days ago.
