dear apple, the iPod needs to come back. not for nostalgia. for the parents who want their kids to love music and audiobooks without a browser, social media, and the whole internet attached to it
@MLB Please explain how anyone can take these awards seriously. No offence to Vogt but Schneider takes his team from last place in the AL East to inches of a WS & doesn’t win? This process is broken. In reality this isn’t close. The bias against Canada & the Jays is ridiculous.
@MLB John Schneider took his team from last to first and on to game 7 of the World Series, anyone that didn't vote for him clearly has no clue what they are doing. Schneider is the real Manager of the Year, Jays fans and players know it, doesn't matter what these people voted 😊💙
The end of the @Phillies and @Dodgers game yesterday was hard to watch obviously because of how it ended. I woke up this morning still devastated for Orion Kerkering. But I’ll tell you what I did see: In a moment of total disbelief and heartbreak that their season ended so abruptly, catcher JT Realmuto consoling Orion. Nick Castellanos running in from right field to put his arms around Orion. Manager Rob Thomson waiting at the top step for his pitcher to hug him and remind him that he was loved. Sometimes we think so much about outcomes and performances that we forget that these are just people. With real emotions. And in that moment Orion had his team loving all over him because when you play with somebody for 162, plus spring training, plus playoffs… you become family.
Were they sad they lost? Of course. But their heartbreak for Orion and support for him was clear and great to witness. In a moment of defeat and total shock , the Phillies showed true class and support for their young player who made a mistake.
Well done Phillies.
And congrats Dodgers.

How is this not a bigger story?
I’ve still seen nothing from NYT, BBC, WaPo, AP, CNN, Guardian… A record number of journalists killed is not newsworthy to other JOURNALISTS because the killer is Israel and the victims are mostly Palestinian.
I’m from Chicago. I know cold. The coldest winter I ever experienced was in Jerusalem. The dampness penetrates your bones. Nowhere to get warm. And I lived in an apartment. This would absolutely break me.

Because I was looking at the data, and it doesn't support your conclusions. I found that in 1948, Jordan had a population of approximately 430,000. This number increased significantly to over 1.2 million by 1967, mainly due to the influx of Palestinian refugees following the 1948 Arab-Israeli War and the annexation of Judea. In 1948, the Christian population in Jordan was around 100,000, and by 1967, it had risen to approximately 200,000, making up nearly 16.7% of the total population. Based on these numbers, it appears that a significant percentage decrease in the Christian population relative to the overall population occurred later, particularly after the influx of Palestinian refugees. If fertility rates aren't the cause of this shift, then what is?
