@AlternateEllie@Sparkpoodle1 Lady Justice is a Roman symbol, and the Roman's were absolutely for executions. She was put in place by Augustus, who very much supported execution. A shield would make way more sense as the symbol you're looking for.
@Johnquan5@NotOkN1 The difference being an execution is held accountable through a legal system that includes elected officials, legal experts educated by trusted institutions, and a direct consensus of a sample of the local population.
@Reiteller@AR15Astronaut22 I don't want to do anything about it. I just want to talk with people about interesting things like my country. ๐บ๐ธ โค๏ธ ๐ฉ๐ช
@Reiteller@AR15Astronaut22 Well, that's uncalled for. Learning British English still lets you interact with America, and America is massive in media and economics compared to Britain. Of course, you learn British English. You're right next to them.
@Reiteller@AR15Astronaut22 Well, it depends. Britain did spread English to much of the world, and it spawned America. Since the fall of the Empire however, America became one of the largest economic and polical forces on Earth. If someone learns English, chances are it's to interact with America.
@SendNutes@HaloNoSprint I do not understand the argument that seemingly implies sprint was a technical limitation of the time. Bungie's previous series Marathon had sprint.
