It’s amazing how many people are ignoring the ICE aspect here. 18 U.S.C. § 592 it makes it a federal crime for anyone in the civil, military, or naval service of the United States to order, bring, or keep troops or armed men at any place where a general or special election is held.

Punishable by up to five years in prison and disqualification from federal office.
