I made a serious mistake and said things I deeply regret. There’s no excuse for it.
I’m really sorry to my fans, Envy, Riot, and everyone who supports me — I’ve let you down.
Ever since I started playing this game, I’ve wanted to be the best. For the past five years I’ve put in close to 10 hours a day grinding and trying to improve. During that time, especially in ranked, I’ve acted immaturely, and this is a clear wake-up call that I need to be better.
This year I started taking streaming seriously, putting in around 200 hours a month when I’m not travelling. I always try to be entertaining, but I got lost and understand that doesn’t excuse what I said.
As I approach 18, I want to become a better example, not a bad one. I accept my punishment and will use this time to grow and make sure it never happens again.
I’m fully committed to this game and to coming back the right way.
Okay so! I may have been wrong about jetpack cat. With proper coordination and set-up the cat can actually put in a lot of work. So my bad to call the jetpack cat mains. I see the vision now!
Purposefully turning off the halftime show
Let’s rally together and show big corporations they can’t just do whatever they want without consequences
(which equals viewership for them)
You are their benefit. Realize you have power.
Turn off this halftime. A fake American citizen performing who publicly hates America. I cannot support that.
if a Rank 1 player tells me to swap to a different character in a 40k tourney so we have better odds at winning, i’m doing it immediately like a good ass boy.
Remember, tournaments especially for high monetary value will be much more competitive, people will try harder, people might be a bit more aggressive because they want to win it’s just the nature of it. Perhaps it was their first tournament but hope valuable lessons were learned.
Weighing in on that rivals tournament thing from someone who was in a gaming tournament for money. I will say team synergy and good mentals are quite important. If your team is encouraging and pushes you to do your best then you’ll play better and be motivated. 1/2
Idk I feel like you don’t pick up a one trick player for a 40k tournament but rather someone who can flex to other characters if their main character isn’t working. These type of decisions do need to be made in order to succeed in a tournament environment.
