Keep spreading the truth and holding people accountable.
We see you!
Learning the hard truth about renewable and no-renewable resources with my 4th graders @MilesHCPS. We also discussed what happens if we over fish or stop planting trees.

Shout out to Ms. M. Heinzman's class @MilesHCPS as they test their solar ovens. I noticed a few issues and left a question for her scientists, wanted to make sure everyone got to enjoy their smores this afternoon.

We are close to wrapping up our rock cycle unit @MilesHCPS. One "volcano", one math lesson while the magma chilled in the fridge, and igneous rocks as we headed to lunch.
@WeAreHAEST@TransformHCPS@HCPSElemScience
Identifying minerals @MilesHCPS because Ms. Bell's samples were not labeled! Oh no!
A couple students also found the Imposter mineral while observing graphite. They performed a streak test.

Shout out to Mrs. Combs kindergarten class @MilesHCPS. We had a few extra cabbages that needed planting today and they were happy to help.

What do you observe when the same amount of liquid moves from one container to another? 2nd grade student's @MilesHCPS can tell you! @WeAreHAEST@TransformHCPS
They also wrapped up their unit on magnets with magnetic slime!
When your teacher used to teach music, you know learning about sound/pitch will be a little "extra" @MilesHCPS π€£
Brought the cello, too, but didn't record that.

The kids noticed the balls weren't rolling very far and a few mentioned moving to the sidewalk.
It was the perfect moment to talk about how they'd used the scientific method on their own. We'll try again Friday, this time on the sidewalk @MilesHCPS@WeAreHAEST@TransformHCPS
Busy day today in science @MilesHCPS Making observations on our long term investigation: How does the type of liquid effect the growth of our grow creatures?
We also collected some data to discuss how we determine the speed of an object or person.
