@Leah_Sottile@tipatat Yesterday I watched on CNN (in the Netherlands) a very sober, almost casual “Fire Weather” report. Basic message seemed to be, there’s fire everywhere, with a bit of wind.... Fire Weather. How to normalize catastrophe.
@turnipdodger@Big_Headers There is a lot that can be done, but the collective mindset of the British people is too weak because we have been divided and bamboozled for decades.
We should know as much about the atrocities committed by British governments in the 20th Century as the Germans do about theirs. But most people in the UK would have no idea what I’m referring to.
In this week’s column I try to put that right.

A good step, yet we see before us a force fully equipped and prepared for a full scale war with it’s own people. Rubber bullets, battering rams, van-tank hybrids. Perhaps disarmament is also required?
Second, every mayor should review their use of force policies with members of their community and commit to report on planned reforms. We need mayors, county executives, and those in positions of power to make this a priority. Take the pledge: https://t.co/c8pAlhJsPJ
@DennyCloudhead Really interesting. Totally agree, need to use human connection as the base of everything and VR can help facilitate that at a distance. Excited where this is all going.
