@PepperTheVixen It’s interesting that you asked this… I never had thought about it until you mentioned this, but yes, I have noticed much less tinnitus on antidepressants, in fact it seems to have reduced proportionately to the dose that I’ve been on. been a really positive experience overall
@sirmars You know, I actually miss Cyberlink’s PowerDVR product, that was an incredibly solid video capture system if you weren’t lucky enough to own a capture device from Hauppauge that came with WinTV software entitlements.
@figmentation Starting your things are rough! Funny thing though, both me and a couple of guys at the office were commenting how we were surprised that it was already almost Wednesday at end of day yesterday.
After a few weeks out of commission, I finally have my gaming PC up and running again...reinstalled Windows too...and it finally hit me...I apparently have to install 5 different vendor-specific game store apps to cover my whole collection. What insanity!
@FreakyFwoof This title reminds me of “Stuff Stephanie in the Incinerator” which used to be one of the worst reviewd films on Rotten Tomatoes or IMDB (I can’t remember which—it’s been off both worst-lists now for years)
@hllf@AuroraNebulosa@kevinrj@hllf Ah! This was a bit of a discordant thread discussing various issues with iOS as we were in the infancy years of things like Siri and Find My Friends, things were far from perfect out of the gate.
@sirmars@sirmars As someone who has spent almost all his life in NC (granted I moved out of state again a few weeks ago), I have to support her right to such a funny custom plate here, LOL!
@hllf@AuroraNebulosa@kevinrj@hllf even so! Seems to still be on topic! And true, these software pieces still are far from perfect, but, they're slowly getting better with time!
For anyone getting an error back when e-mailing some of my e-mail addresses, I am aware of the problem, unfortunately I can't do anything about this until Friday. Please call or message instead if possible.
Random question for any of my visually-impaired server-administering friends who might know... I'm familiar with the accessibility issues HP iLO version 4 has for screen reader users, has the situation been made any better on the newer ProLiant systems that feature iLO version 5?
Yep, first Tweet in forever! Been thinking a bit on Microsoft's big-news acquisition from the other day. Hearing a ton of fussing about it. As a FOSS guy, I'm actually optimistic. Microsoft now is culturally a totally different company than when they acquired Bungie after all
@jakobrosin I know this is from a few days ago, but as a former Cisco UC engineer, I can say with great confidence that we both know WebEx probably sucks far worse in space. ;-)
