Remember that no championship in sports is fraudulent or deserves an “asterisk”. Every team started 0-0 and played the schedule they were given. Whoever comes out on top in any given season in any given sport is the team that deserved to come out on top
People feel it’s a trust issue because they willingly risk their money on these games. When a close play happens it’s obviously going to come with bias from those who draw the short end of the stick. Anybody who didn’t gamble on this game is able to look at this play objectively
The whole thing smelled. Even after Sean McDermott called timeout, the review seemed very rushed. It was an incredibly close call. Shouldn't have happened that fast. The league's developed a trust issue with its fans with this stuff.
I understand why Bills fans don't want to understand why it's not a catch. They're emotional and invested. It's natural. They're quite literally coping.
I genuinely don't understand how anyone who is not a Bills fan does not understand that Cooks didn't survive the ground. It does not matter that for a fraction of a second his knee is down, and he was touched. That's not the rule. The moment he hit the ground, he lost control, and the ball wound up in McMillian's arms.
Yes it should tell you how often social media skews opinions by people not knowing the rules. That one’s particular play was called correctly. Everything else can be fair game a lot of the PI’s were soft but you simply can’t argue Brandon Cooks caught that ball😂
The fact that EVERYONE universally believes Brandin Cooks caught the pass and the two penalties were nonsense, should tell you everything you need to know.
I have real concern for the amount of people thinking Brandin Cooks caught that ball. The most concerning part is that most who think that won’t admit they bet money on the Bills…because any objective viewer knows that is not a clear catch in any level of football
@SadeekCreates Man stfu you tweeted this talkin bout how do I go to sleep go enjoy your Saturday night. You the type of mf who give bears fans a bad name lol I knew it right when I saw “Bears, Spurs, Ohio State” in bio lol go to sleep you a child we don’t want yo ass
Caleb Williams has so many flaws…yet he is one of the best improvising QBs I’ve ever seen already. Whole league better watch tf out cuz if we get this defense to play for 4 quarters good luck
Given the full context of this throw (playoff game, they 100% lose if this isn’t converted, they ended up winning, etc.), this has to be one of the very best plays in recent NFL history.
@rawmilkhoney I would think I’m not incel so it’s not just them that h8 people like this as well as murderers and others that live their lives immorally always turn to religion and expect it to automatically redeem them in the public eye actions have consequences why do ppl “resent” that part
You know, the quoted video is going around Twitter and people are taking their shots.
Acting like there weren’t stupid ass “bust” talks going into year two. Acting like analysts on all sorts of platforms didn’t claim he would be a horrific fit with Ben Johnson.
Acting like there weren’t plenty of analysts who doubted his ability to play under center and reduce his sack total.
Why are we pretending the majority of people outside Chicago were high on Caleb Williams after his rookie season?
Now everyone wants to be sarcastic toward him because he addresses it? Miss me with that garbage 😂
@jacobinfante24 The new starting QB pipeline is just get drafted high—-> have that team give up on you ——> develop as a backup for 2-3 years ——> sign with new team as a starter. Almost as if QBs need time to develop
Now that the game’s over and the #Bears won, I feel comfortable saying this without feeling bitter.
Some NFL team should sign Malik Willis to compete for a starting QB spot. He’s definitely better than a handful of other starters out there.
I think any critical thinking (which we know NFL players sometimes lack especially post retirement) would tell you this is not even possible. Maybe 1-2 shots before the game to keep warm but “shit faced drunk” is just not possible to play any sport let alone an NFL game at corner
Seems to be the trend when ppl actually watch a full bears game. Caleb still has a lot of flaws but he made at least 2 throws yesterday that I’m not sure what other QB in the league could make. The potential is there and if you argue otherwise you are biased or lying to yourself
The discourse around Caleb Williams is insane man
I’m a die hard Packers fan and that dude had the greatest 2nd half I have ever seen from a QB against this defense this season.
Hes a stud, the film reflects that. There is more to it than just box scores
If you don’t think bama should be in I have one question for you.
If Texas A&M or Ole Miss plays Georgia tonight and Bama sits at home would Bama still be in the playoff?
