@malindoair horrible experience with Malindo air,OD281 KL - CCU, the flight got delayed and when we were checking in,the staff were very rude and disrespectful. Gate no C-33,never flying with Batik airlines/ Malindo airlines again. @malindoair would u care to say something?
My morning schedule starts with looking at which patients in the ICU survived the night, which ones will die before sunset and preparing myself first to face the loss of life and then preparing them & their respective families to complete the journey from critical illness to a dignified death with kindness.
The rest of the day, like every day, is a haze powered by coffee, in the absence of lunch since decades and catering to patients on end of life care and their families that exhausts me, so much that, I dream that one day I'll quit this for good and take care of myself.
I haven't caught up with friends or gone for a leisurely evening walk for a long time, I can't remember when I did that last.
I don't remember the last time I took my children and wife for a relaxing evening time-out. I actually don't see evenings because usually, I'll be at the back of my car with a headache & napping my way home from a tough hospital schedule almost all days of the week.
I come back home and then complete my pending clinical research, work on preparing for lectures and study material, I try to catch up on latest medical publications and media questions. I don't know when I can sleep and when I finally do get to bed, I can't sleep good because I'm worried about the patients who might not make it that night.
