Prior to Christianity becoming mainstream, it was common for both Romans and Greeks to commit infanticide of deformed, unwanted, or "excess" infants through a practice called exposure.
They would leave or throw the baby away , in the wilderness, at a temple, or on a dung pile. Sometimes prostitutes would rescue and raise them, but the practice was widely accepted and even advocated by leading philosophers of the time: Aristotle, Plato, and Lycurgus.
In Rome specifically, it was uncommon to raise more than one daughter. Female infants were frequently exposed.

This was neither a Christian nor a Jewish practice.
One of the ways the early Christian community grew was by actively rescuing and raising these abandoned children. Christians became widely known for their refusal to participate in infanticide and for taking in the unwanted.
Starting with Emperor Constantine the Great, reforms were introduced that gradually ended the practice of exposure and infanticide.

So there’s this practice that’s ubiquitous in the world. People kill their own children for favor from the gods. The Bible depicts a man about to carry out the task, when a messenger from God tells him God will not ask this of him. This sets up a culture differentiated from all around it. One that rejects human sacrifice as a means of worship. A moral standard that is spread through its religion and its offshoots. A moral standard that so permeates our culture that now thousands of years later after the religious belief has waned but the morality still holds, an unbeliever points to the story as some horrible wickedness. He points to it as an example of how Christian morality isn’t different than the barbaric practices of others. He’s unable to see how silly his argument is and that’s a shame.

Before Christians took over the Roman Empire, it was normal for Roman parents to dispose of unwanted babies (of which were mostly daughters) by simply dumping them on trash heaps. This was a practice known as 'exposure'. If babies didn't outright die, they'd be picked up by brothel owners or slavers to be turned into products for profit.

Many Christians adopted these unwanted children as their own. Because many of these children were girls, and because the conditions they grew up in weren't very fortunate, early Christianity developed a reputation for being a religion for women and poor people.

It wouldn't be until Christian Emperors like Constantine that the practice of exposure was finally equated to murder.

So yes, Christians did invent most of what we know as "Basic Human Morality" as we know it today. You stand on the shoulders of giants but are too arrogant to look down and see where your feet are planted.

If you’re a young man with a backbone, you will be punished in our society.

Women will resent the fact that they can’t control you. Older men will see you as competition and hire women over you. And your own country will treat you like a threat that needs to be replaced by mass migration.

For whatever reason, there’s a war against strong young men. When a society punishes competence and capability, it’s time for that society to end.

We’re at the end of the civilizational cycle, and many young men today are finally recognizing that it’s pointless to work hard for a system that’s destined to fail.
