I officially won the case against YouTube!

A legal body officially certified under EU law has ruled on my demonetization case against YouTube and found in my favour on every point, i.e “I won”.

Official decision:
— YouTube’s demonetization was declared unlawful
— The measure must be overturned
— YouTube pays the costs

The Arbiter found:

YouTube contradicted itself. My channel was reviewed and readmitted to the Partner Program on April 15. Nine days later, YouTube demonetized it again for the same reason. If that reason still applied, the readmission would never have happened.

The remedy YouTube offered was impossible. YouTube said monetization could only return if the related channel was readmitted, but that channel was deleted and cannot be readmitted. The Arbiter called this “a permanent measure with no defined path to resolution.”

No human reviewed my appeal. My video appeal was rejected automatically within hours. Under EU law, that’s not allowed. The Arbiter concluded no human reviewer was assigned to my case.

The policy was hidden. YouTube relied on a rule that only exists in its internal resources, creators couldn’t read it.

YouTube offered no defence. They argued only that the case didn’t apply to them. They said nothing to justify what they did.

Under EU law, YouTube has a duty to cooperate in good faith with this ruling.

So @TeamYouTube please do the right thing, manually clear “related channel” flag and restore my channel’s monetization.

I created this channel out of my passion for entertainment and quiz content, with the goal of building a community where people could enjoy fun, engaging, and family-friendly challenges.

This project has been active for years, and I consider it a significant part of my life. I have devoted countless hours to creating content and growing a wonderful community of subscribers who share my passion for quizzes and games.

Creating each video is no small task. Every upload requires research, scriptwriting, editing, sound design, thumbnail creation, and many hours of work to ensure viewers receive enjoyable and high-quality content. This is not an automated channel, and every video represents my time, effort, and creativity.

After being accepted into the YouTube Partner Program and operating without issues for years, I was deeply saddened to suddenly lose monetization. What makes this even more confusing is that many channels producing similar quiz content, including channels that have copied my ideas and formats, continue to remain monetized.

Given this situation, @TeamYouTube, I respectfully ask to be granted the opportunity for a fair and thorough manual review. I am confident that I have always tried to follow YouTube’s rules, guidelines, and policies, and I sincerely believe my channel deserves the chance to be properly evaluated.

Please, YouTube, stop disabling monetization on my channel!!!

You restored my monetization only recently, and now, just 2 weeks later, it has been disabled again.

Guys, I really need your help again. This situation is destroying me mentally. I feel extremely exhausted and close to a breakdown.

I want to fight for justice. I am seriously considering legal action against YouTube and seeking compensation for the emotional damage caused by these repeated mistakes.

We woke up at 3 AM to upload videos. We funneled our savings into cameras, mics, editors, and thumbnails.

We sacrificed birthdays, weddings, and weekends to ship one more upload. We turned our living rooms into studios.

We turned our voices into livelihoods. We turned strangers into communities of millions because you told us this was the future.

And now we are watching that future get taken from us, one channel at a time.

The recent AdSense wave is the worst it has ever been. Real creators with real audiences and real businesses are watching everything disappear overnight.

People who never broke a single rule. People who poured a decade of their lives into building something honest.

The email comes in and the entire business is gone. No appeal that actually works. No human to talk to. No path back.

Some of these creators have 6 channels under one AdSense. All 6 die in the same notification.

Years of work erased in a single algorithm decision nobody at YouTube can even explain.

The support is broken. The "creator chat" is a script reading bot pretending to listen.

The appeal forms feel like sending letters into the void. Real questions get template responses.

Real evidence gets ignored. Real businesses get crushed and nobody at the company seems to care.

We are not asking for charity. We are asking for basic respect.

We built this platform for you. We brought you the billions of hours of attention you sell to advertisers.

We attracted the audiences you monetize. We are the reason YouTube is one of the largest companies on the internet.

Every single dollar of that value passed through someone who set up a camera in their bedroom and hit upload.

And the way you treat us back is to ban us by mistake, ignore our appeals, and tell us the algorithm decided.

This is not how you treat the people who built your empire.

We are not the enemy. We are the product.

And right now, we are tired, hurt, and watching friends lose everything they built because nobody at YouTube cares enough to pick up the phone.

YouTube's own manager confirmed IN WRITING that he never reviewed my channel or my appeal — and still rejected it.
My channel Dragon Quiz (https://t.co/5MYfxkDuoh) has been wrongly demonetized since 29th April. Their AI flagged me for "inauthentic content." I proved it wrong. They didn't watch my proof.
I showed my full workflow. I showed my scripts. I showed my editing process. I brought my wife on as a host. I made a public video proving every second of my content is real human effort.
Still ignored. Every support ticket gets the same copy-pasted reply pointing to Case ID 3-3527000041060 — the same case where the manager admitted he didn't check anything.
Now they want me to wait 90 DAYS to reapply. 90 days without income. My production team. My family. All suffering for an AI error that no human at YouTube will take 10 minutes to actually investigate.
I've filed a legal appeal with India's Grievance Appellate Committee under MeitY. GAC Appeal No: 15433/2026.
I am not going away.

They did reply, but it was basically the same generic answer again. They said the team had already reviewed my appeal and channel, couldn’t accept me into YPP, and that I should wait 90 days and reapply. I replied back, but they still haven’t answered me again, so I’m still waiting.

@KevalKevaldk I think what I will do is delete the monetization from the second channel since it didn’t give me a lot of money and try to be as safe as possible for this one if they approve it, which I don’t think they will but whatever…

Quick question in case anyone knows:

My main channel can reapply for monetization on June 16. Another one of my channels was demonetized only because it was linked to the same AdSense.

If the main channel gets accepted back into YPP, what happens to the second one? Do I need to reapply separately for that one too? Could the second still cause issues for the first because they’re linked?

Also, if I don’t want to risk monetizing the second channel at all, is there any way to avoid future ��related channel” issues and just keep the main channel monetized?

Would really appreciate any insight.

Neal Mohan publicly talks about YouTube making “record profits,” but forgets to mention where a huge part of that money suddenly came from.

Since the 2025 policy changes, YouTube didn’t introduce any revolutionary updates that massively increased platform value:
• No huge new audience influx
• No groundbreaking creator features
• No major innovations bringing record growth

Yet somehow profits exploded.

Why?

Because thousands of creators were demonetized while YouTube continued running ads on their videos and keeping 100% of the revenue.

That’s the part nobody wants to talk about.

The most absurd part is this:
The same content YouTube labels as “inauthentic” continues getting pushed by the algorithm.
➡️ It still gets recommended
➡️ Still finds new viewers
➡️ Still gets likes, comments, engagement
➡️ Still earns money for YouTube

So if the content is supposedly “bad,” “spam,” or “inauthentic,” then why does the algorithm continue promoting it?

And then creators are told:
“Wait 90 days and appeal again.”

But during those 90 days:
• The creator loses income
• The channel continues generating ad revenue
• YouTube keeps all the profit
• And by the time monetization MAYBE returns, the channel is often already exhausted by the algorithm

Meanwhile large creators with repetitive formats, repeated thumbnail structures, recycled series concepts, compilation channels, and mass-produced entertainment formats continue staying fully monetized without problems.

So where exactly is the line?

Why are smaller creators punished while massive creators doing extremely similar content structures remain protected?

And before anyone twists the point:
Most creators were never trying to replace humans completely. People simply used modern tools to improve editing, visuals, workflow, storytelling, thumbnails, or production quality.

That is still work.
That is still creativity.
That is still content creation.

So YouTube, what exactly are the real rules anymo

I feel completely powerless.

My YouTube channel was demonetized for “Inauthentic Content” 49 days ago, on March 18. This channel was my main source of income.

My content is manually researched, planned, scripted, edited, and produced. It is not mass-produced, not AI-generated, and not low-effort template spam. I even submitted an appeal clearly showing my full creation process, my face on camera, the manual work behind the channel, and why specific videos were uploaded at specific times based on trends, artists, films, or shows relevant to my audience. It was still rejected.

What is most frustrating is that I still have not received a clear, specific explanation of what exactly is supposedly wrong with my channel. I have only received generic replies. How is any creator supposed to fix a problem if YouTube refuses to explain what exactly needs to be changed?

Because of this, I also started an EU out-of-court dispute process on March 31. On April 9, I was told that the discussion between the parties had ended and that all the necessary information had been collected for a final non-binding decision. Since then, I am still waiting.

So right now I am stuck in the middle: YouTube has taken away my income, rejected my appeal, affected another related channel too, and still has not given me a concrete explanation of what exactly my channel violates.

I am asking for a real human review of my channel and a clear, specific explanation.

Please do not let creators lose years of work to automated-looking decisions with no real guidance.
