ADHD conversation is 5% listening and 95% holding onto a single sentence so tight your brain hurts, because if you let go for even a second, it vanishes into the void forever. It’s not interrupting to be rude; it’s interrupting because the thought has a 3-second expiration date.
Emotional dysregulation is like having a volume knob for your feelings that only has two settings: "Off" and "Explosion."
A minor critique from a boss doesn't just feel like feedback it feels like a physical punch to the chest. I’m not being "dramatic." My brain literally lacks the emotional shock absorbers that everyone else seems to have.
I don't just feel my emotions; I survive them.
There's no universal answer to whether or not people should disclose their ADHD or autism diagnosis at work.

ADHD looks like: writing your reply in my head at the sink, remembering in the grocery line, promising “after this one thing,” and then it’s midnight and I’m carrying guilt for a message you never saw. It’s not that I don’t care. I cared all day.
You weren’t lazy.
You were exhausted.
You weren’t unmotivated.
You were in burnout.
You weren’t “too sensitive".
You were under-supported.
Now you’re rebuilding.
At your own pace.
And that’s beautiful.
That's the autistic experience.
Many people with ADHD experience big, fast emotional responses that can overwhelm or get in the way of other aspects of our lives.
This includes our empathy, or the emotions we feel for other people's plight or emotions we pick up from people around us

Perfectionism and procrastination often spiral into each other.
Procrastination can convince us that, if we're going to do it later, we better do it right. Then perfectionism can convince us that we shouldn't start until our idea is good enough.
...and around and around it goes
@DonnaDlm71 Massive thanks to you & all who give up time to do this, from someone who is blind & needed a reader/scribe for all GCSE & A Level exams. It does make a real difference :-)
