@Autistic_Lauren with a group of other autistics, generally quite well. with a group of non-autistics, generally not well. but like all things, it depends...
A โsafe spaceโ for autistics isnโt about not having disagreement or discomfort - nor does it mean a place without boundaries
Thatโs simply avoidance.
A safe space is where you can exist, be challenged, establish boundaries - and still be respected.
No one is more annoyed by the AI revolution than people who can actually write a sentence. Basically, having any ability to write now is suspect - you will get accused of being AI at some point. It feels like you are being accused of being a witch, of holding a type of rare magic that only the machines are now allowed to have.

Went to the AFC victory parade yesterday - a great afternoon........but @TfL manage to spoil it by closing off access to stations (Manor House)..........but don't bother putting up any signage, so folk criss-crossing the man road junction trying to find the one entrance. Useless.

they said that disabled people don't deserve benefits - they told us to go work
then they discriminate against us at work
then they say we shouldn't be paid for our work - that we should be grateful to exist at all
something makes me think this is all about something else
i've been offering 1:1 peer support coaching to my fellow autistic comrades since 2006.
if you're looking for a hand and support in your work or personal life, let's chat.
