Another senator just got caught doing what would end the career of any regular American.

Senator John Boozman of Arkansas bought shares of Devon Energy on April 9.

He did not disclose the trade until May 8, almost a full month later.

Here’s the problem:

Boozman sits on the Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works, the same committee that shapes energy policy in this country.

He also sits on subcommittees that oversee commodities and rural energy.

In other words, he votes on legislation that directly impacts the oil and gas sector.

And then he buys oil and gas stocks.

This is not a one-off.

A week before he bought Devon, he also bought shares of Constellation Energy on April 2.

In the last 3 years alone, Boozman has filed 331 stock trades totaling over $667,000.

He has received nearly $150,000 from oil, gas, and coal interests since 2012 according to OpenSecrets.

A senator on the energy committee, funded by energy lobbyists, trading energy stocks ahead of energy policy.

If a corporate executive did this with their own company's stock, they would be in handcuffs.

When a senator does it, it gets a delayed filing and a one-line public disclosure.

The system is not broken, it’s working exactly the way it was designed to.

In an attempt to influence American foreign policy, he proposed a Trump-branded golf course, cut Jared Kushner & Ivanka Trump into a multibillion-dollar real estate deal for a resort in Albania, and had someone physically deliver a stone engraved with the Trump family crest to a Republican Member of Congress with instructions to take it to the White House to get the President's attention.

Trump threw his weight behind repealing the sanctions. They were lifted. The contracts are moving, the Trump family’s deals are expanding, and not a single Washington Republican is willing to say a word about any of it.

BREAKING: Newsmax host shocks his MAGA fans by tearing into Pete Hegseth for lifting the suspension of the helicopter aircrews who performed a PR stunt for "Kid Rockhead."

This was absolutely humiliating. And on a right-wing network no less...

“So what if those ‘fly boys’ flew by Madonna’s house and Took a Bow? Or Robert DeNiro?” anchor Greg Kelly wrote on X. “That would Not be cool, right? But it’s just fine for Kid Rockhead? What an amateur move, posting it on Social Media.”

“Meanwhile HEGSETH runs the Pentagon like he ran his phony ‘non-profits’ —RECKLESSLY,” Kelly continued. “He has No business Micro-Managing Army Units. They MUST Discipline Hot Dog Pilots performing Unauthorized Stunts. Because Next Time something could go Very Very Bad.”

Kelly, who is about as conservative as they come, is a former Marine Lieutenant Colonel, which perhaps explains why he reacted so strongly to Hegseth undermining Army commanders. Kelly tweeted his thoughts in direct response to a tweet from Hegseth.

"Thank you Kid Rock. US Army pilots suspension LIFTED," the Defense Secretary posted. "No punishment. No investigation. Carry on, patriots."

Hegseth's announcement came not long after the Army announced that the "personnel involved" in a helicopter flyby of Kid Rock's house in Tennessee had been "suspended from flight duties" while an investigation was conducted.

Kid Rock, real name Robert James Ritchie, ignited this scandal when he posted videos to social media showing two $50 million Apache attack helicopters hovering near his pool as he clapped and saluted. He shared them along with (for some reason) an attack on Governor Gavin Newsom.

Many Americans were understandably incensed to see their tax dollars being used for such a mindless MAGA internet stunt. The Army was right to suspend the aircrews and launch and investigation, but now Hegseth has inserted himself into the situation, once again politicizing a military that's supposed to be nonpartisan.

Greg Kelly also mentioned the issue on his Tuesday show, stating “We like Kid Rock, he likes Trump. But what if some pilot decided to fly by, I don’t know, Cher’s house, and Cher can be— I don’t know what her politics are, but whatever.”

He added that the “crowd wants people to say this is great, but sometimes the commander, the responsible officer, literally the responsible officer has to make unpopular decisions with the troops and with the people.”

“Leadership, it can be lonely, and I don’t think a lot of people who are shooting their mouths off right now know enough about it,” he said.

As we know well by now, Hegseth has no interest in actual leadership. He's a drunken, clueless MAGA loyalist who's more interested in projecting a twelve-year-old boy's idea of strength. If even right-wing commentators are waking up to that fact, it's very bad news for the White House.
