If we predict something assuming there is something called gravity and apply that to launch satellites in the earth orbit which you can see through a telescope, does that count as proof? @j_mike2020 @CryptoStu3 You can bounce off the laser light from the parabolic reflectors kept on the moon. You can intercept the signal coming from JWST. There are many observations that will refute your claim. If you choose to close your eyes it does not mean that the world is dark.

@j_mike2020 @CryptoStu3 This picture is taken from L1 point which is about a million kms away from the earth, behind the moon. The new James Webb space telescope was installed there. The moon is only 384000 kms away from the earth.

@prattagonist Since you asked I believe you are not completely hopeless. So here is the explanation : the inner planets are visible around either the sunset or sunrise. For example Venus is called the morning star. At those times if we are watching them we are not on the other side of earth.
