A lesson I still have to learn over and over at times. I'm not tossing stones in glass houses here. Write for yourself, and friends too. Think of the emotions your reader will feel. It's good stuff.

Readers, when you can, let the writers know how the works made you feel too.

Maybe because I mostly work on rare stuff and found family, but as far as I am concerned, my works reach the intended audience when I tag them. Besides me, they are for people who go into those tags.

Making it a numbers game will hurt you mentally. I speak from hard experience.
