none of this is new. they/them pronouns have been around for as long as anyone can remember. you prioritize your own interest rather than a small matter of respect for millions of individuals.

they/them pronouns ORIGINATED in a singular manner. it appeared in writing for the first time in the oxford english dictionary in 1375, but thatโs just WRITING. the OED suggests that the usage is even older since written language usually reflects on what has been used previously.

@DanielleFong Yeah, Iโm not a fan of pronouns when someone is giving every possible visual cue for he or she, but then still insists on telling you exactly what you expect.
I do support pronouns that arenโt completely obvious based on visual cues.
