Hi my income get overcharged 2 times because of the wrong tax code on payslips. I tried to call HMRC 10+times this morning but got hang out all the time. I need help. I have tax account with tax code L1257D but in payslips it shows BR. I only have one job.

@HMRCcustomers They said D0 is the one they got from the HMRC but I can’t see any code like this one on my tax account apart from payslips. They ask me to ask HMRC and this is like endless circle

@r19900328 Hi, I'm sorry you haven't managed to get through. It sounds like HMRC have sent the code but your employer hasn't received this. The only way this can be resent is by the Income Tax team. The only ways to contact are by phone or post. Sofia
