Also, can't the big manufacturers make a contribution towards the NI racing insurance costs as it must be in their interests in terms of rider and machine preparation for IOM events?

@bbc5live @NickyAACampbell Good that you've got Sir Steve Webb on. I did 30 years in pensions industry and once asked him if he ever saw a day when SP would be means tested. He missed the point and told me he didn't think a politician would stand up and say 'vote for me and I'll make you poorer'. You try.
