Besides being guinea pigs for a program that clearly does not serve their interests as students, the K-12 program has been used to ensure profits for private educational institutions and has fooled the students into believing in the effectivity of the program.

Furthermore, it does not serve interests of the nation—it has become a tool to produce cheap, docile, and semi-skilled labor for export to foreign countries.
