What Bengaluru and rest of Karnataka need today is some major disruptive change. Not the same old slogans and jaded rhetoric.

Not just encroachment removal. We have also started repair of damages to the footpaths to improve walkability. We will spend ₹ 70 CR on repairs to footpaths.

With new #BBMP draft notification #propertyTax rate for residential properties is determined based on the type of property and its usage. ​
For residential properties/lands :- tenanted : 0.2% , self-occupied: 0.1%,vacant:0.025% of the guidance value (1/n)

With this property tax for a G+2 floor house in 1200sqft plot with built up area for 2000sqft will have to pay almost a 1 lak is property tax which almost 10x in most area (3/n)
