The uncomfortable is a difficult place to be, but also provides a platform to grow if you allow yourself. It’s VERY hard, but do your best to see the gain and growth thru the uncomfortable.
Adjusting to any “uncomfortable” is stressful, frustrating, and definitely a learning curve. Be mindful through challenging times that many others are fighting thru their own set of problems as well. Kindness, tolerance, and patience take extra work, but have a huge impact.
When you get knocked down:
- Surround yourself with your go-to people.
- Identify what you need to do to get back on your feet.
- Reconnect to your why.
- Understand that you will be bombarded with negative thoughts. You don’t have to believe them.
The immediate future of the already uncertain and uncomfortable times will bring tremendous challenge to us all. Control the controllable, be the best you that you can be, and use effort to be as calm and logical as possible in this rapidly changing landscape. ❤️
"Have a good time. Life is too short to get bogged down and be discouraged.
"You have to keep moving. You have to keep going. Put one foot in front of the other, smile and just keep on rolling.”
Kobe Bryant in 2008 🙏
Whenever you feel angry: Tidy something. Your room, car, kitchen, anything.
You'll find satisfaction in the outcome, defusing the rage.
Assigning yourself the task of clearing any physical mess inadvertently helps to do the same for headspace.
idk, works for me.
