GMM asks what GMM has ignored when it comes to Chimon, here’s what we have been trying to say.
When Chimon recovered and was ready to return to work, we requested that his manager be changed for the first time. We have asked again recently for his manager to be changed, but our concerns were completely ignored. They also ignored the requests and concerns raised by fans.
On top of that, fans are often informed about events at the very last minute. There is no one consistently posting SingChimon’s photos or activities. Most of the time, fans only find out about them when the artists themselves or fans post about them. Instead of preparing and promoting things in advance, even trend schedules are often posted at the last minute.
When Chimon was being attacked by toxic fans, GMM also did not fully protect him, even though he was an actor who had only recently recovered and returned to work. The official statement defending him was only released after Chimon’s fans repeatedly demanded and pushed for GMM to take action.
And now, in the currently airing series “Matchpoint,” Chimon already has very limited screen time, yet some of his scenes have been cut even further. After selling tickets, is he now being included merely as a “Special Guest”?
Please remember that the reason we work so hard, trend for him, and support these projects is because Chimon is part of them.
GMM, we understand that you want to promote people who are talented and capable of achieving success, and we understand that you have your priorities. But please don’t forget the people who stood by GMM before those successful pairings and new stars came along—Chimon and the artists who have already left GMM were also there with you throughout the journey
We are not saying that GMM’s success came entirely because of them. However, they were also a part of that journey and contributed to it in their own ways. From the beginning, both sides worked together in a way that benefited everyone.
So why, after getting what you wanted, are you pushing those people aside?
If GMM truly values the people who have contributed to its journey, please don’t only choose the already-successful pairings to promote while leaving everyone else behind. The other artists deserve to be seen, supported, and treated with the same level of care as well. @GMMTV
