I somewhat went off Heisenberg when I discovered how he'd shouted at Gerry Guralnik "You know nothing about physics!" after he co-authored one of the papers which [correctly] predicted the Higgs. Gerry said it was terrifying.
Nice summary. Question is, when we come to celebrate the centenary of the most successful theory in the history of science, what year do pick? Smart money is on 2025 (1925 was the year of Heisenberg’s matrix mechanics and Schrödinger wave mechanics (latter published in 1926).
Experiment: Set yourself up to be so busy for the rest of the year that you won't have a single damned moment to think about anything at all.
