A lot of the chat re Wirtz is really simplistic & inaccurate. 50 games in, it’s fair to say Wirtz thrives in certain game dynamics:

> if Liverpool are playing at home & high up the pitch, he generally plays well - especially in Champions League. He’s got space & proximity to teammates to be creative.
