1st, she's got tattoos. That's what they're asking about when they're curious about her skin color. Also, many people she talked to seemed to be saying that she was beautiful. Some people just have to complain about everything!
90% of the people in this video are the SAME SKIN COLOR as her, but (in their minds), they think they are lighter, different from her, ..thats a mental illness. LMAO.
@yajnadevam@ProjectBihar Depending on the definition of "decline," the Bhakti movement, which preached that anything goes in the name of devotion, contributed heavily. But I believe, in a country of 1.4B+, you either lift everybody up or sink with the ship. And lifting up 1.4B takes time and sacrifice.
@ProjectBihar@yajnadevam You should read about Ramanujacharya (he was a brahmin who made the Sri Vaishnava movement socially inclusive, giving panchakarma to people of all castes. Many Iyengar brahmins are thought to have been assimilated from other castes through his movement (though debated).
@MumukshuSavitri@TenzingLamsang Why does every idiot out there turns into a smug lecturer the moment India comes up? The same people who tiptoe around every other culture with sensitivity suddenly feel morally entitled to patronize 1.4 billion Indians like they’re correcting a child. The arrogance is staggering
@aslicheen From China's perspective, India is in the "West." The story "Journey to the West" is about a Chinese monk who went to India to get Buddhist scriptures. Some parts of what are Western China today used to be part of the Indian cultural zone. Just need to spread this awareness.
@amoghdot @Rose60653167 Do share with friends & family, as Indians should know enough about their culture to debunk the various malicious theories that are being peddled.
@Rose60653167 I see a lot of non-Japanese also liking my post above. If you'd like to read the same article in English, here you are: https://t.co/RiDD3TA2SM
@tippity Don't know about this particular place, but most Indian thali restaurants have waiters constantly coming by with sides to serve guests seconds and thirds of dishes they want. Just as at home. These restaurants are not aimed at people who treat "all you can eat" as a sport.
