I didn't look before I created this to see if others had the same idea of reversing the video, but I'm not surprised to learn that I'm very late to the party! I think this person may have been first: https://t.co/KemhAahBrS
@tim_cook "Creativity is just connecting things. When you ask creative people how they did something, they feel a little guilty because they didn’t really do it, they just saw something [..]The broader one’s understanding of the human experience, the better design we will have" —Steve Jobs
@slickubiq @SirBarefoot@PurityChad I'm not the OP, but I can highly recommend Pete Egoscue's book Pain Free at Your PC and all of the Egoscue method exercises to combat the negative effects of sitting. And if you like the book, the original one called Pain Free is especially foundational.
Life is full of challenges.
Excessive eating is challenging, but so is eating to moderation.
An atrophying body is challenging, but so is exercising it every day.
Choose the challenge that makes you stronger.
What's the story you tell yourself?
What's the story you tell others?
Do those stories reflect who you aspire to be, or do they describe who you think you already are?
One story moves you forward, the other stagnates.
Move forward.
You can do nothing and things will change, but they may not change in a way that you want them to.
If you want things to change in a specific way, you must apply yourself to those things.
You must act.
Who do you want to be? Define it. Write it down. Create new habits and make it happen.
An undefined life is full of hesitancy and mediocrity.
You have agency—use it!
To lead is to see a problem as an opportunity for action.
Instead of "if you see something, say something" imagine it was "if you see something, do something."
Everything starts with thought.
If you want more of something, think more of those thoughts. If you want less of something, think less of those thoughts.
Thoughts are the precursor to action and action is the precursor to reality. Your thoughts & actions create your reality.
If you want to live a long life, become more aware of the present moment and intentionally fill that moment with the people and the activities that you love. Life is only as short as you perceive it to be.
Don't put off until tomorrow what you know you want to do today, as tomorrow may be filled with the added challenge of despair and disbelief at how long you've waited.
