My husband and I are raising four sons. The two oldest are not his. The first night I met him, the first thing out of my mouth was “I’m a mother”

The discourse I’ve seen about “women with pasts” and “women using Jesus to escape accountability” puzzles me, because the last thing I wanted was to trick or trap anyone, in fact I was tired. I just wanted rest.

We don’t trust God enough. God knows what he’s doing. My husband and I are still here ten years later and whenever anyone asks if he has kids he says “yeah I have four sons” he doesn’t even make the distinction.
