The Ophthalmic Society of South Africa was threatened and bullied into retracting an invitation to a world expert (Israeli) who was due to present at their conference. But when, after push back from their members, they conducted a survey they found that 81% of their society supported inviting the speaker.

This proves a number of things:

- Just because they scream loudly, it doesn't mean they speak for everyone.
- Pushing back against the bullies works.
- There are more good people than haters.

OSSA have re-invited the speaker and await his response.

A Nation Proud Again

A close friend and supporter of Menachem Begin, Sam Moss posed a question to him: "Who is the greatest leader of the Jewish People?". Begin's response left Sam both touched and inspired.

The Lebanon ceasefire deal is dangerous. It will lead to more death, and will increase suffering on all sides, G-d forbid.

The area from which Israel plans to retreat is necessary to ensure the safety of its citizens.
