@Mr_Husky1 You were a safe person for him to share his pain. Twenty days were a lot of other opportunities for him to share. Thank goodness he shared with you. How might your staff learn about from this situation? How might he have gotten help sooner?
@NiallHarbison Here are Walter and Nellie. Nellie & I spent Covid together. My Dad rescued Walter before he entered memory care. turned out that Wally had a poorly healed rear leg injury that required amputation. He got to see Dad a few times before Dad passed away. These dogs…❤️❤️❤️❤️
"My parents have been married for 75 years but few have noticed. Most of their friends have died. I contacted 6 local news stations and the Union Tribune newspaper giving details so they could do a story on their lives. Not one response from anyone. I think living into your 90's and staying married 75 years is quite an accomplishment. If you agree, please like and share my post. I want to show them people do care."

@NiallHarbison Such sweetness! The ultimate reward for sharing a life with these beautiful creatures! The joy! 💕 Hank runs back for you because the adventure isn’t complete without the whole pack! ….plus he’s probably not completely sure how to drive the truck…yet…🛻🐶
@TweeetsOfDogs Yes, but not just for the dying loved one. Dogs mourn loss also. If they are allowed to be there to share love with their person, the stress felt by the dog could eventually be lessened. This may give some relief to the dying person.
I was touched to see Gus Walz’s joy when his dad @Tim_Walz took the stage last night. Thankful for you showing us all what real love looks like, Gus.
Let’s be a nation that embraces this kind of warmth and vulnerability, instead of making fun or mocking it. We could all use some of Gus’s example in our own lives.
“At the World Championships in Budapest, USA’s Anita Alvarez sank to the bottom of the pool.
Looking across the deck, and noticing she was under way too long, her coach, Andrea Fuentes immediately dove in after her fully clothed, pulling her to safety.
Anita was unconscious and didn’t have the capacity to kick, paddle, or help herself in any way.
If Andrea would not have noticed, she would have drown.
But she knew Anita. She looked for her, quickly noticed she was under too long, then dove in without thinking twice.
This has resonated with me….
When you are under too long, who are the people that will look for you, notice, and dive in to pull you to the surface when you lose your strength to swim?
Who are the people that would do that for you?
And can someone count on you to be that person that would go looking and notice when they are under too long, diving in to support them when they are all out of fight and fuel to swim in these turbulent waters we call life?”

His impact was immediately felt, but his true effect on the program came when his first freshman class became seniors. Since Herbert has had a roster full of players that he’s worked with for at least 4 years, Michigan’s overall record is 25-3. https://t.co/UMsmi1nCnR
@ElliottBlackwe3 We have been noticing changes in Dad’s thinking. Last week he was sharing a story about his bachelor party before marrying my mother (who died 6 years ago) at one point he looked at me and said, “your father was there!”
It took a sec—he thought I was Mom…
Effective teachers don't focus so much on rules, but more on relationships, routines, & expectations. If you focus mainly on rules, you will spend most of the year enforcing them. But if you focus on relationships, routines, & expectations, you rarely have to defer back to rules.
@JenniferHein@NFL Thanks for your answer! I figured it had to have happened sometime...somewhere...
It was handled well last night. What and interesting job!
#NFLPlayoffs I've never seen a broken chain in a football game...and I watch a lot of football. How often does this occur? Not starting a conspiracy...truly curious...
