Greetings Wizards,

There has been a lot of speculation on the BRC-20 $WZRD and Bitcoin Wizard Ordinals collection since it was made known that MAGIC INTERNET MONEY is going to launch on the Runes protocol. As such, we want everyone to have an equal chance to properly prepare for the magnificent event, and we do not want there to be any surprises.

We had said earlier that $wzrd was just a test token and no promises were made and it was released early at the start of brc-20, with no plans of being the project token or main coin of the Bitcoin Wizard ecosystem. The project token and memecoin of the Bitcoin Wizard community is Magic Internet Money.

There has been a lot of speculation lately on both the $wzrd brc-20 and the Bitcoin Wizard Ordinal. We don't want to make an arbitrary decision on allocation of Magic Internet Money between the two. We appreciate, and respect, the attention the Wizard community has received, and we are thankful that we are soon to grow our movement to millions of more people. After all, our goal is for us to be a united group of Wizards delivering magic throughout the land.

And now this announcement is the official plan for Magic Internet Money and how it will be distributed

At block 841,337 (1337 block after the halving) we will take a snapshot of the market cap of the BRC-20 $WZRD token and a snapshot of the Bitcoin Wizard Ordinals collection. We will combine their market caps and allocate to holders pro-rata.

From each group, we will also deduct a pro-rata share to provide for a 25% public allocation. We will attempt to distribute this public allocation by a public mint process, however if we aren't able to come up with a way to stop bots/tx fee wars during a public mint we will distribute the public allocation by airdrop. So that as people are onboarded to Runes everyone has a chance to take part in the magic.

Additionally, we will also deduct a pro-rata share of 20% to provide for the project to invest in and grow the Wizard community, movement and run big community initiatives. This will also be used to reward the best wizards and top contributors to the ecosystem to incentivize people in our community. This amount is supposed to last for the life of the project and will be used with caution.

By announcing when we will take the snapshot to allocate based on market cap value, this allows everyone a fair amount of time to position as they wish to be positioned within the Bitcoin Wizards ecosystem.

Please be patient with our launch on the Runes protocol. Do not buy any Rune that claims to be MAGIC INTERNET MONEY until you have seen more information from this Discord and the official Twitter account https://t.co/UhdO75jv09. It is not guaranteed that we get the Rune name we desire, and you will need to allow some time for this to play out, and for us to figure out how to properly execute on the transition to the Rune. This process may take some time.

And remember, we are not here for the money, this is for fun. Do not consider this a way to make money. Please only consider this a way to have fun in the Bitcoin Wizard community and spread magic.
