@natasha_faroogh Boards are supposed to give teachers time on a PD Day (mine is scheduled the day after Labour Day) to complete this before Sept. 15. Only applies if contract or LTO is hired by that date though. Will likely do over the summer, always lots to do first day of the year…

@natasha_faroogh Should not need a doctor’s note to access the days at 90% pay. I’m believe the rule is after five consecutive days they can ask for a doctors note. Since the isolation is now five days, I guess we don’t need a note.

@thekimgauthier Protestors came to my school during our vaccine clinic and were yelling at students and giving out flyers outside the school. Police had to be called.

@thekimgauthier @MoriartyLab We are advised by our union not to speak to students about the covid vaccine. Awaiting further guidance as I am sure students/parents will want to ask teachers their vaccination status/views.

@aliciajpascual When I taught BTT1O some years back, email writing was part of the course but receiving email from Ss wasnt the norm at the school. Now at a 1-1 school, I started incorporating a brief dos and don'ts of emailing your teachers into my course expectations on day 1.
