Yesterday, at the 135th Continental Congress of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR), tradition was defeated by a vote of 1,481 to 984.

Delegates were voting on a resolution that sought to clarify the bylaws by defining “woman” explicitly as a person born female. It stated that individuals born male would not be eligible, transgender women would not be eligible, and men with birth certificates changed from male to female would not be eligible.

The outcome of the vote reflects an internal divide in the 190,000 member organization between those who prioritize history and tradition against those who prioritize virtue signaling and the insanity of "gender fluidity."
