Had the chance yesterday to present my honors thesis, "Identifying changes in Late Woodland ceramic traditions". Thanks so much to everyone who came out to say hi!

Do you retroactively change the color of something that already happened in ur google calendar bc you realized it was the wrong color code or are you normal

Fantastic summer of fieldwork in #Mongolia! Beyond grateful to everyone who so generously shared their time & knowledge with me- couldn't have asked for a better field school experience

Fun fact I actually just chose my major because it's really funny every time i have reason to start a conversation with "So I'm gonna be camping in Mongolia for a month and-"

Third rewatch of #OurFlagMeansDeath and still its only flaw is that it ends way too quickly😭

[Abigail J. Rieck @rabigail18]

Gotta be honest, this @umichhockey game has me more stressed than the term paper i turned in this morning #priorities

Going to an oscars party❌
Actually watching most of the oscar nominees❌❌
Convincing your brother to watch with you just so you can be extremely catty about red carpet looks together✅✅✅

Honestly the most unrealistic part of Euphoria is that they supposedly live in the suburbs yet everything is somehow bikeable or walkable

From Florida to Texas to Idaho, Republican lawmakers really do hate young people. It is almost like they are competing to pass the law most harmful to trans youth, to schoolchildren, to impoverished youth, to gay youth, to girls, to youth of color. This law may be the worst.

Once again facing the age old question of "are hiking boots actually that popular in the winter, or do I just take a lot of archaeology classes"

If you wash AND fold AND put away your laundry all on the same day, you officially have your life together

We're sickened to hear of @CSEAS's treatment of Josh, a Malaysian graduate student who was retaliated against directly after the Atlanta shootings, for speaking out against white supremacist violence. We encourage everyone to sign his petition, and read his thread if you're able!

#MakiyahBryant - a 15 year old black girl in Columbus Ohio was shot after calling the police for help. Just minutes after the #DerekChauvinTrial - Tell me again how this can be "reformed"?

[John Liao @lordhubris]

how do you become one of those cats who lives at archaeological sites?

[Cori Bush @CoriBush]

When Philando Castile was murdered by police at a traffic stop in 2016, Minnesota invested $12 million in police training.

Where was that training when they killed Daunte Wright just 10 miles from where Derek Chauvin sits on trial for murdering George Floyd?

[Taylor Rooks @TaylorRooks]

The word 'accident' is being used when referring to Daunte Wright being murdered. Stop. We lost precious life and can not reduce that to a mishap. If you have a badge and a gun you don't get to say oops.
And the system responsible for his death was not created by accident.

Choosing college classes is just going from "but what will i do with an hour and a half break??" to "if you make me take two lectures back to back I Will Riot"
